Eggs for breakfast

One of the amazing things about having chickens is that they lay eggs…real eggs. We are loving having fresh eggs in abundance and they poach so well.
They retain their shape and are all perky!

The big break through was Jakob and Maddy learning how to poach
eggs for the family.

Boiling water, a dash of white vinegar, create a whirlpool with a wooden spoon,
crack the egg in a dish, slip the egg into the water, remove with slotted spoon.

Having homemade bread completed the satisfaction of a DIY breakfast.

Beautiful.
