‘Tis Spring my friend

The garden is full of eye candy of the natural kind. Cherry blossoms overhang our outdoor area and we have blossoms of all kinds dotted around the yard. I love spring. We have just had part of our fence rebuilt this week so we have a section of garden that needs a bit of TLC. In theory we should be able to get out there and work on it as a family. The kids have been bike riding more and enjoying the cubby house, making paint with ground chalk and water or perfume with petals and plastic containers of water. Do you remember doing this kind of thing?

With spring comes new food. Asparagus has been plentiful and cheap so it has found its way into stir frys, vegetable dishes and I intend to make a tart today.
